IEA Hydro was represented at the recent AFRICA 2017 Water Storage and Hydropower Development for Africa international conference held in Marrakech in March 2017. Mr Niels Nielsen presented the work of IEA Hydro at the Opening Plenary Session.  Mrs Lori Nielsen chaired the session on Environmental and Social Issues in which Mr Nielsen presented the work of Annex XII on GHG emissions. Mrs Nielsen also addressed the Closing Plenary with a report on the main issues and recommendations emerging from the E&S Session.
